A photo was recently shared to the popular local Facebook group “You Know You’re From New Carlisle If…” that depicted a homemade sign advertising “heroin for sale” with an address listed. The picture sparked a lively discussion about the affect drug abuse and the drug trade is having on New Carlisle, as well as some steps to improve the situation in the future.
Main and Lake has discovered more homemade signs that have been placed in the Smith Park area after the “heroin for sale” sign was discovered.
