We have had multiple scandals with our schools, problems with drug use and crime, a beloved newsman shot by a deputy, a tornado, a Taco Bell fire, and felony charges against a popular leader in our community. Wot-a-Dog closed, reopened, was bad, then closed again. Paul.

5 Possible Changes to New Carlisle’s Main Street Intersections

New Carlisle City Manager Randy Bridge told city council recently that the County Transportation Coordinating Committee would be conducting a traffic survey at two Main Street intersections in town, according to the New Carlisle News.

Bridge declined to expound on his plans for the intersections, but Main & Lake has some ideas about what could be in store for our busiest thoroughfare.

What’s Next for the Vacated Speedway Lot?

New Carlisle has always been famous for having two Speedways right across the street from one another. But our great city will have to find a new thing to hang our hats on, since the east side Speedway is being demolished now that the state-of-the-art west side Speedway is big enough to service the entire town.
